In the case of a loan, “security” is equivalent to offering your lender some type of “collateral.”  All types of secured loans are considered “loans with collateral” and unsecured loans are “loans with no collateral.”  You should already know that bad credit loans with collateral are much easier to get than without.  Bad credit loans with no collateral can be virtually impossible to get due to the fact that all lenders judge their customers by credit scores.

The FICO credit rating is one of the most accurate tools in determining whether a person is likely to pay off their loan before a set date.  The higher your level on the FICO credit chart, the better off you are going to be if you want to get bad credit loans without collateral.  If you are a person that currently has a lot of credit problems to deal with, you should be asking yourself why you even want to take out a loan without collateral?

If you took the time to analyze most people with bad credit, you would find that they simply do not have any collateral to give.  Most people with poor credit have either A) sold their collateral for money or B) had to deal with a foreclosure on their property because they failed to pay one of their loans.  What can you do if you are a person without any collateral to give in order to get a secured loan?

People that have absolutely nothing to give to secure their loan will need to ask someone to help them out (by cosigning their loan documentation).  If you are in a situation where you don’t have a car or a house to put on the line as collateral, then a cosigner is a good option.  Bad credit loans with no collateral are much easier to get if you can convince someone (with a healthier credit) to sign the loan offer with you.

Who should you ask to help sign your loan?  You can ask anyone that has faith in your ability to make payments on time.  Most people ask their immediate family members, close friends, or other relatives.  If you don’t have any friends or family that are willing, you should count your losses and try to improve your credit score before you try to get another bad credit loan.

Know that poor credit loans with no collateral are not impossible to get, but you must have a cosigner if you want to have a good chance at getting one.  Loans for people with bad credit can be a great temporary financial boost, but are not going to actually repair one’s credit score unless they put in a solid effort to make payments on time.
